Every feel like you are being interrogated in a conversation?

All of us have been in a conversation, probably many, where we felt the other person was conducting and interview or interrogation during a social and casual interaction.

IMG_7657

This makes you feel awkward, and you are never quite sure how to respond, as you cannot be certain of their intent.  Is it just their odd personality, their direct way of inquiring, or are they really digging for personal information?

The way that you respond to them from your words to your body language will determine how this interaction plays out; whether your actions shut down the conversation, or whether you build rapport and turn the conversation pleasant, productive and into a lasting acquaintance or friendship.

Can you brag about your pistol shooting?

The 30-10 pistol training program.IMG_9898

This week during a qualification and tactical shoot, I had the opportunity to see just about every bad pistol shooting posture/habbit/training scar a shooter could have.  Every one of these shooters are 10+ years veteran shooters.  Not new students.

Training scars and bad habbits have been built and reinforced for years.  The ONLY way to break these bad habits is training!  Proper training.  Consistent training, as shooting is a parishable skill.

A solid foundation of the fundamentals is KEY!  This cannot be overstated.  You can never shoot at the level you desire without proper fundamental basics.  Get back to the basics.  Dry fire is the basics.  This program allows you to practice at home, or wherever you are in just minutes a day.  This WILL get you shooting pistol worthy of bragging at the range.  Only 10 min a day, and no ammo.

Most will not complete this training, as it is not “sexy”.  They will spend their money on ammo and guns, and range fees, and parts, but will not spend $47 on proper training.  And they will never shoot the way they want to.

This program will not only get you shooting, but will also keep you current, and proficient with your speed and accuracy.

This is not my program, I am not selling it.  I recommmend this training product because it works.  Period.

The link to purchase it and start shooting better today is HERE

This is how the Tier 1 Military Operators learned how, and this is how they keep their skill sets up.  Don’t think that there is a shortcut, or a sexier way to get it down, if there was, they would be doing it.  If shooting live ammo at the range would get you there, they would do that, as they have a MUCH larger budget than you do.

Want to shoot like they do, then do what they do.  And they do this!  Or you can look like and shoot like the pictures here taken this week at a Gov shooting range.

Spoorology; The science and art of tracking

SAR leo mil tracking patch kelly alwood

Spoorology is the science of spoor, commonly known as tracks. Spoor is the proper term used for tracks, like footprints, and other physical evidence of somethings presence.
Spoorology, or tracking is a science as well as an art. The physics behind spoorology is science, while the viewing and interpretation thereof can be an art. Much as learning to paint, or play and instrument, the art of tracking is somthing that is learned, over a long period of time.

The study of spoor can be divided into several different disciplines.  Forensic, meaning expert witness and crime scene recreation for law enforcement, SAR search and rescue, military combat tracking, animal tracking, human behavioral science, and many other forms.

The photo above is a Mounted SAR CERT team in Indiana.  They are commonly called out to “run down” or track missing persons of a non violent nature.  This can involve trackers on foot, vehicles, ATV’s, horses, and even tracking dogs.

My friends and I have been doing scientific study of Spoorology for many years now.  We have taught classes, published articles in magazines and journals, written books, Master Degree Thesis, and made videos all with the intent of spreading the knowledge of this science.  Some of us have developed and ran certification courses in tracking.  Some of us have been expert witnesses for the court in the United States.   With this new science, we can add to the worlds knowledge about human behavior, psychology, physics, and other disciplines.

Spoorology or tracking is also focused on animals by some.  These scientists use the animals spoor or tracks to research animal behavior, follow the animals, and check their health.  Some survival schools teach tracking, most of that is focused on animal spoor, and much of it is not in depth.  The classes are normally designed just to raise awareness.  To get people to start noticing and seeing spoor, following it, and at most, the very basic interpretations of the spoor.

What our research does is to actually go in depth, to a forensic level of the science, and bring forth information not otherwise possible to find by looking at other parts of the human or animals life.  Blood tests and dna cannot give you the same information as you get from the quarries spoor.

I have developed a system that will actually identify each specimin as an individual, simular to DNA or fingerprints.
