Tracking science; measuring the pitch of a step to identify individuals.

I believe this is just one of several measurements that allow Spoorologists to distinguish between individuals very accurately.  This is one experiment I did that you can replicate yourself.

Special Operations; Behavior modification; PsyOps

Psychological Operations
Description

Psychological operations (PsyOp) are a planned process of conveying messages to a target audience (TA) to promote certain attitudes, emotions, and behavior. These messages are typically conveyed using a line of persuasion known as a theme.

U.S. Army Sgt. Derek Hahn with the 341st Tactical Psychological Operations Company, 17th Fires Brigade is happily welcomed by local Sheiks in Al Qurnah, Iraq, May 13. U.S. and Iraqi forces patrolled through the district to gain insight from the locals on the May 10th car bombings in Basra province, Iraq's second largest city. (U.S. Army photo by Spc. PsyOp is basically the use of communication to influence behavior. It is used against adversaries, their supporters, and their potential supporters. It is defined by the US Army in the following way: “Psychological operations are planned operations to convey selected information and indicators to foreign audiences to influence their emotions, motives, objective reasoning, and ultimately the behavior of foreign governments, organizations, groups, and individuals.”

Behavioral Programming changes peoples behavior. It teaches you exactly how to get people to do what they need to do.

BP book

This book is the newest form of influence out there.  Years of research went into this, to learn not only how to alter a persons behavior, but also how it actually works; making it work consistently, and with everyone, not just one certain “target person or audience”.

Objectives

According to the US military, the ultimate goal of PsyOp is to modify the behavior of the TA.

Psychological Actions

The military also establishes contact with a TA using face-to-face communication (F2C) and psychological actions (PsyActs). F2C and PsyActs are similar. Both are audiovisual products consisting of agents of action who deliver messages to a TA.

Both require that the people involved follow a set of guidelines while play-acting to deliver the messages. Both are used to modify the behavior of the A. F2C usually involves a single individual addressing another individual, or a single individual addressing a group. PsyActs generally require more planning, more resources, and use multiple people to transmit messages. They require the coordination of a variety of resources, while F2C is simple.

Tactical Product Development Detachment

A Tactical Product Development Detachment (TPDD) is a small unit that works at the division or area level to instantly create PsyOp products for a specific situation in the AO. It provides products for PsyOp personnel that will have immediate tactical use in the AO.

The TPDD works with the civilian sector to supply most of its audio, visual, and audiovisual products for theater (battlespace) distribution. This includes civilian specialists in radio and TV programming, station management, casting, directing, editing, graphic arts, advertising, computers, design, music, photography, audio/video, and printing.

Winkler tomohawks and knives

winkler hawk

I got to spend some time with Winkler at Shot Show 2016.  I watched his videos at the booth, spoke with the family, and learned the about the unique qualities of their products.

Their Tomahawk was very impressive and stood out to me, because I have seen it carried and used by Tier one groups and Sayoc Kali.

Rifle Dynamics; AK-47’s

I had the opportunity to meet with Jim, the owner of Rifle Dynamics in Los Vegas at his shop during Shot Show 2016.  What a great guy, and the quality of weapons that he puts out is amazing.

I have been in many combat zones around the world and carried an AK-47 in all of them.  I only wish I would have had this quality of AK while on tour.

They can make an AK custom to your needs.  Whatever it is that fills your need for your mission, they can build it to overperform your expectations.

Can you brag about your pistol shooting?

The 30-10 pistol training program.IMG_9898

This week during a qualification and tactical shoot, I had the opportunity to see just about every bad pistol shooting posture/habbit/training scar a shooter could have.  Every one of these shooters are 10+ years veteran shooters.  Not new students.

Training scars and bad habbits have been built and reinforced for years.  The ONLY way to break these bad habits is training!  Proper training.  Consistent training, as shooting is a parishable skill.

A solid foundation of the fundamentals is KEY!  This cannot be overstated.  You can never shoot at the level you desire without proper fundamental basics.  Get back to the basics.  Dry fire is the basics.  This program allows you to practice at home, or wherever you are in just minutes a day.  This WILL get you shooting pistol worthy of bragging at the range.  Only 10 min a day, and no ammo.

Most will not complete this training, as it is not “sexy”.  They will spend their money on ammo and guns, and range fees, and parts, but will not spend $47 on proper training.  And they will never shoot the way they want to.

This program will not only get you shooting, but will also keep you current, and proficient with your speed and accuracy.

This is not my program, I am not selling it.  I recommmend this training product because it works.  Period.

The link to purchase it and start shooting better today is HERE

This is how the Tier 1 Military Operators learned how, and this is how they keep their skill sets up.  Don’t think that there is a shortcut, or a sexier way to get it down, if there was, they would be doing it.  If shooting live ammo at the range would get you there, they would do that, as they have a MUCH larger budget than you do.

Want to shoot like they do, then do what they do.  And they do this!  Or you can look like and shoot like the pictures here taken this week at a Gov shooting range.

Spoorology; The science and art of tracking

SAR leo mil tracking patch kelly alwood

Spoorology is the science of spoor, commonly known as tracks. Spoor is the proper term used for tracks, like footprints, and other physical evidence of somethings presence.
Spoorology, or tracking is a science as well as an art. The physics behind spoorology is science, while the viewing and interpretation thereof can be an art. Much as learning to paint, or play and instrument, the art of tracking is somthing that is learned, over a long period of time.

The study of spoor can be divided into several different disciplines.  Forensic, meaning expert witness and crime scene recreation for law enforcement, SAR search and rescue, military combat tracking, animal tracking, human behavioral science, and many other forms.

The photo above is a Mounted SAR CERT team in Indiana.  They are commonly called out to “run down” or track missing persons of a non violent nature.  This can involve trackers on foot, vehicles, ATV’s, horses, and even tracking dogs.

My friends and I have been doing scientific study of Spoorology for many years now.  We have taught classes, published articles in magazines and journals, written books, Master Degree Thesis, and made videos all with the intent of spreading the knowledge of this science.  Some of us have developed and ran certification courses in tracking.  Some of us have been expert witnesses for the court in the United States.   With this new science, we can add to the worlds knowledge about human behavior, psychology, physics, and other disciplines.

Spoorology or tracking is also focused on animals by some.  These scientists use the animals spoor or tracks to research animal behavior, follow the animals, and check their health.  Some survival schools teach tracking, most of that is focused on animal spoor, and much of it is not in depth.  The classes are normally designed just to raise awareness.  To get people to start noticing and seeing spoor, following it, and at most, the very basic interpretations of the spoor.

What our research does is to actually go in depth, to a forensic level of the science, and bring forth information not otherwise possible to find by looking at other parts of the human or animals life.  Blood tests and dna cannot give you the same information as you get from the quarries spoor.

I have developed a system that will actually identify each specimin as an individual, simular to DNA or fingerprints.
