Glock 34 with extended/threaded Wolf barrel

So I took this to the range to test it at longer distances than guys normally shoot their pistols regularly.  I wanted to see how it would paper at 25 and 50 yards with the Wolf barrel.  This pistol has Trijicon Big Dot sites on it.

This is how it did.

3 rounds of stock FMJ at 25 yards.  All in the 10 ring.

This is 3 rounds at 50 yards with the same FMJ stock ammo.

8 and 9 ring shots.

Testing .45 ACP pistols for accuracy

I decided to take out a few .45’s and hit the range to see which one of the group the best.  Were they even going to be close?  How far out could I go with each and still be combat effective?

I took these Three with me.  Glock 21 Gen 3 with no mods, Kimber Desert Warrior with aftermarket threaded barrel, and an FNX 45 stock with threaded barrel.

I shot these groups two handed, with a pole for stabilization.

The Glock 21 printed below as seen.

This is at 25 yards.  3 rounds

Overall, all three proved to be combat effective from the box with stock ball ammo.

Teaching Eric Prince Survival and Fire Building

This was a day Kevin Reeve and I spent with Eric Prince (Yes, Blackwater), at his home teaching him and his family some survival techniques.

During the day we hunted, killed, butchered and fed everyone with a deer from his property.

We taught them to make Bows and practiced bow and arrow shooting.  We taught them to throw tomahawks.

We taught them to build a bow drill fire making kit and he got a fire started.

We engaged in all kinds of outdoor survival lessons, and then spent some time at his pond cooling off dropping from his zip line.

He was a great host with a beautiful family and great friends.

ASP Handcuffs

asp handcuffs

I stopped by the ASP handcuff booth at Shot Show.  I wanted to check out their new line of cuffs, and look at other models I may not have had a chance to play with before.

I did have the opportunity to speak with and spend some time with the head of their training division and also and executive.  We had a good discussion on the cuffs, new and older models, and the pro’s and con’s (vulnerabilities) of the models.

They were polite and professional, and decided they wanted to work together to do some testing or R&D.

I did discover that the paws can be changed out in some of their models.  From single to double or triple, and they can even have a “training” paw put in.  I will have some of these shortly and will post more on these and make a video as well.

Neil Strauss and Behavioral Programming

I spent personal time with Neil Strauss, back while he was writing his best seller “Emergency”, and continued since then.

After publishing his NY Times best seller “The Game”, we had a lot to talk about and discuss about phycology, human behavior and techniques. His focus was quite different than mine, in the sense that his research was very specific to one goal, make temporary friendships and get the girl.

My book Behavioral Programming is focussed on true, lasting, and real relationships; to include business (boss, coworkers, subordinates), intimate relationships, strangers, and how to change and make existing relationships even better.
