Can you brag about your pistol shooting?

The 30-10 pistol training program.IMG_9898

This week during a qualification and tactical shoot, I had the opportunity to see just about every bad pistol shooting posture/habbit/training scar a shooter could have.  Every one of these shooters are 10+ years veteran shooters.  Not new students.

Training scars and bad habbits have been built and reinforced for years.  The ONLY way to break these bad habits is training!  Proper training.  Consistent training, as shooting is a parishable skill.

A solid foundation of the fundamentals is KEY!  This cannot be overstated.  You can never shoot at the level you desire without proper fundamental basics.  Get back to the basics.  Dry fire is the basics.  This program allows you to practice at home, or wherever you are in just minutes a day.  This WILL get you shooting pistol worthy of bragging at the range.  Only 10 min a day, and no ammo.

Most will not complete this training, as it is not “sexy”.  They will spend their money on ammo and guns, and range fees, and parts, but will not spend $47 on proper training.  And they will never shoot the way they want to.

This program will not only get you shooting, but will also keep you current, and proficient with your speed and accuracy.

This is not my program, I am not selling it.  I recommmend this training product because it works.  Period.

The link to purchase it and start shooting better today is HERE

This is how the Tier 1 Military Operators learned how, and this is how they keep their skill sets up.  Don’t think that there is a shortcut, or a sexier way to get it down, if there was, they would be doing it.  If shooting live ammo at the range would get you there, they would do that, as they have a MUCH larger budget than you do.

Want to shoot like they do, then do what they do.  And they do this!  Or you can look like and shoot like the pictures here taken this week at a Gov shooting range.

SDC Surviving Deadly Contact course

Kelly-Alwood-LOGO14This was the latest course, last week Oct 2014 in St. George Utah with OnPoint Tactical.

Course: Surviving Deadly Contact

This class will be hands on training, force on force with paintballs, and live fire with pistol and carbine. Students will learn learn the rules of combat, shoot and move. Every game has rules and those who do not know the rules will definitely lose.

  • What is the most dangerous place in a room?
  • What is the order you engage your targets?
  • What are the levels of cover?
  • How do you handle multiple opponents?

If you don’t know the rules, you can’t win..(other than pure luck)…
This class focuses on real life threat scenarios: a shooting or robbery in Walmart, attempted carjacking, scuffle at the restaurant, muggings in the mall parking lot, home invasion.

Behavioral Programming

Behavioral Programming Kelly AlwoodYears ago hackers tried to devise a system of tricking people into giving them information with the intention of hacking into their computers.  Recently pick up artists have developed a system of making themselves desirable to others.  Con men have used lies and phsycology for decades to deceivetheir victimsKelly Alwood.

Hackers devised “social engineering” to accomplish their goals.  Its basically a way to trick people into thinking you are someone that you are not, with the goal of giving them confidential information.  There isreally not much to this approach.  Pick up artists have actually done a lot of research and development on their tactics.  These tactics do work, but the scope of this approach is very limited, and with a narrowly difined goal.  Short term results (and relationships) are achieved with this tactic.  Con men simply use lies to get what they want.

Behavioral Programming is different.  It is a way to get people to change their behavior and interaction with you.  It is a way to make strong, lasting friendships, get warmer results from strangers, strengthen your current relationships and change everyone in your workplace.

This research was started years ago with the original intent of teaching US Special Operations Forces, Security Contractors and others in fields of high risk for being compromised and alone in a hostile land.  We needed a way for them to solicit help fast, and probably from indiginous persons.  Gaining the help from strangers could be the key to their survival.  The system must be effective and fast, and last.

Kevin Reeve and I started teaching this in our UrbanEscape and Evasion classes to US Special Operations personnel.  Kevin came up with the first set of rules, and we tested them out.  They worked beautifully.  As the program developed, I started to make notes of behavior modifiers that were consistent throughout our society.  My notes kept expanding until I had enough to actually fill a book.

I am currently working to finish the book.  The content is original and unique.  I have never seen these things printed before, or even spoken of at a seminar.  Thats why I am writing a book.  To share new information to help you make friends, change behavior, and get the results you want out of people.  The backdrop to all of these strategies is honesty and real intent.  You can make friends out of strangers, get the promotion, make lasting friendships just the way you are.  You dont have to be fake or pretent to be something your not to get the results you want.  You just need to know some do’s and dont’s, and know what makes people happy.

You will see some tips posted here, and the complete book will be out shortly.

Kelly Alwood’s Behavioral Programming is different.  Its the all natural approach to getting what you want.

Art of Escape class

Kellys class anti kidnappingThis class was the invention of Kelly Alwood.  A fresh new course designed specifically for disaster survival in the USA.

Kelly flew out to San Francisco in Dec 2013 and met with TAD gear (Tripple Aught Design apparel) and Rift Recon.  TAD was launching there new CORE training program at their new SF location.  Kelly spoke with Brett (TAD owner) and Eric of Rift Recon about designing a new fresh class for the first class at launch.  Kelly designed a new course.  An urban bug/ survival course.  Kelly provided the IP (class content, PPT’s etc) and agreed to teach the first 2 classes himself.  Kelly did travel to SF and personally teach both classes.  One in January and one in February.  Kelly trained the Rift Recon crew how to set up the class and run it.

After returning home Kelly was informed by formal letter that Rift Recon would be teaching the class without Kelly’s consent or involvement or compensation.  Rift Recon also stated that they would continue to use the Art of Escape name as well.  Rift Recon did acknowledge that the IP (actual class content) did belong to Kelly.  The letter from Rift Recon stated that Rift Recon would not use any of the original content that Kelly provided.  However, Rift Recon is using the same course description as before.  Rift Recon is also not telling students that Kelly is no longer teaching the class and that the class in completely different than what was advertised and what they signed up for.

This is a public notice.  Kelly Alwood is NOT teaching the Art of Escape class.  The content of the class is stolen IP, or the course description is completely false.  Rift Recon did NOT pay for the IP content of this course.  Rift Recon recorded with audio and video my entire course.  They had the audio transcribed.  Rift Recon is still advertising this course as it was when Kelly taught the class.  Rift Recon is using audio and video from the classes Kelly taught for advertising the class.

Neither Kelly Alwood or TAD has any affiliation with Rift Recon at this point.  Both Kelly and TAD had made Rift Recon aware that the quality of service Rift Recon provided students was sub standard.  Set up and execution on the part of Rift Recon was not up to Kelly Alwood or TAD Gear standards.  Rift Recon was given specific details of preparations and arrangements to be made for Kelly to teach the class.  Most of which were not even attempted to be made.  Kelly and TAD informed Rift Recon that we could not attach our names to the classes if they did not fulfill their obligations to the students.

Rift Recons responce was to claim the class as their own, and to contact friends and instructors of Kelly Alwood to go out and teach Kelly’s class in SF without Kelly’s permission.  They were refused.  No indication is given as to who is actually teaching this class now.  Students signing up dont know who the instructor is, or what is actually in the class.  Rift Recon has left everything the same on their website to fool students into thinking Kelly was still teaching his class.  Kelly Alwood is not teaching the class, and the class is NOT what is in the description, as Rift Recon has stated that the class is mine and they wont teach the same thing.

Kelly Alwood and Kevin Reeve still teach the Urban Escape and Evasion class all over the country.  Sign up for one of those and get the real deal.
