I decided to take out a few .45’s and hit the range to see which one of the group the best. Were they even going to be close? How far out could I go with each and still be combat effective?
I took these Three with me. Glock 21 Gen 3 with no mods, Kimber Desert Warrior with aftermarket threaded barrel, and an FNX 45 stock with threaded barrel.
I shot these groups two handed, with a pole for stabilization.
The Glock 21 printed below as seen.
This is at 25 yards. 3 rounds
This is the Glock 21 at 50 yards. 3 rounds
This is the Kimber at 25 yards. 3 rounds. (the 9 ring holes)

The FNX at 25 yards. 3 rounds
The FNX at 50 yards. 3 rounds
This is the ammunition used in all of the pistols.
Overall, all three proved to be combat effective from the box with stock ball ammo.
